The film Carbide was presented at the jubilee 20th edition of the Zagreb Film Festival.
This festival has a special value for Carbide because the film was initially developed as part of the ZFF’s “My First Screenplay” workshop.
Carbide is a story about two boys who are friends despite their families long standing feud.
The plot follows 12-year-old friends who live in neighboring houses, and although their families are in conflict, they are inseparable until they discover a family secret.
They spend their time firing pyrotechnics (Carbide) and fantasizing about becoming YouTube stars.
