Brothers Jakov and Mislav Petras are associated with the students’ strike in 1971.
After the break of the Croatian Spring, Jakov emigrates, Mislav is inprisoned, and the girl Sunčana whom they both love gets killed under strange circumstances soon afterwards.
In May of 1990, Jakov Petras comes back to Zagreb and starts investigating Sunčana’s death…
